Audio Production

The concept behind this project is of a university instructor who hires an audio engineer to take a routine college syllabus about Grimm stories and turn them into an audio production to increase the learner engagement of the course material.

The target audience for this project is the student of the professor whose class the students are attending.

The objectives of this project are to engage the student in a new and unique was to increase their interest of the course subject matter. By changing the modality from primarily text based to a full audio production will engage the different senses of the learner.

The research for this project consisted of developing a script based on the syllabus of a college course being taught at a university. Using the syllabus as a starting point, I used Google Gemini to help craft a voiceover script for recording in my home studio. I crafted a script that included 16 different characters and enlisted the help of my daughter in the recording of a few voices.

Using Adobe Audition, I took all the voiceovers and mixed them together with a sound track and sound effects to create an immersive audio drama that captures the imagination of the listener.
